Electrode Carbon Paste is a Soderberg paste made from a combination of Electrically Calcined Anthracite coal (ECA) or Calcined Petroleum Coke (CPC) along with Coal Tar Pitch.

Electrode Carbon Paste is used in electric submerged arc furnaces for delivering energy to the charge mix. Electrode Paste is added to the electrode column, the temperature increase causes the paste to melt and subsequently bake forming a block of electrically conductive carbon.

We have successfully sourced and traded Anthracite based Electrode Carbon Paste from India for various ferro alloys furnaces in different countries.
